Widowed Queen?

Every night Kiara would come to the edge of Pride rock, where Kovu had passed away, and would sit or lay there watching the star's and crying herself to sleep. This loss was truly big and had left a hole in her dear old heart. Her children would try to comfort her and she appreciated the fact that they were trying but the pain was just unbearable.
She was left to rule the lands herself. However she knew she was getting old and that she would have to step down and give her crown to her son.
She was alone now, lost part of herself.. she was now widowed..
